Jessica Hodson

Jessica Hodson has a range of work experience, starting in 2012 as Floor Manager for The Buttery Bakery. In this role, they were responsible for opening the store, depositing money, handling orders and customer complaints, and maintaining a pleasant environment for both customers and staff. In 2015, they moved to Santa Cruz Biotechnology as a Quality Control Research Assistant, where they executed western blot tests on high-throughput scale to evaluate antibodies and troubleshoot CRISPR/Cas9 product line. Jessica also reviewed historical data and researched, planned, and analyzed the results of new tests. In 2016, they became Clinic Manager for Howard Kornfeld, MD and Associates. From 2018 to 2019, they worked on a variety of software engineering projects, including Harm Reduction Hub, Grubber, and Accurate e-Tail. Most recently, they have been a Frontend Engineer for Feedly since 2019.

Jessica Hodson attended Hack Reactor from 2018 to 2019 to pursue Full Stack Web Development. Prior to that, they attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Neuroscience and Psychology.
