Sofia Gomes

Sofia Gomes is currently a Director of Systems Research at Feedzai, where they have previously held roles as a Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager focused on building Machine Learning Infrastructure. They were an Invited Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico and served as a Teaching Assistant at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Their volunteer work with IEEE included leadership positions within the University and Portugal branches. Sofia holds multiple degrees in Computer Science, including a PhD with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
