Magda Ramírez serves as the Geospatial & Security Manager at FEMSA, leading geospatial analysis with a focus on crime in one of the top companies in Mexico and globally. Magda is responsible for developing a criminal geoportal for Mexico and 13 Latin American countries, providing evidence-based recommendations for decision-making. Previously, as a Contexts & Intelligence Senior Researcher at the Fiscalía General de Justicia de la CDMX, Magda spearheaded significant gender-focused investigations utilizing geospatial intelligence. At México Evalúa, Magda coordinated multiple projects on urban spatial analysis and crime geography while also training law enforcement in hot spot policing strategies. As an International Consultant at IDOM Consulting, Magda led major projects in geographic information systems across Mexico and Latin America. Early in the career, Magda managed various national projects focused on urban planning and sustainable cities. Magda holds a Master's degree from IEXE Universidad and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
