Ivan Baev is currently the Director of Compiler Engineering at femtoAI, focusing on developing ML compilers for low-power SPUs. Previously, Ivan served as Sr. Manager of Compilers and Debugging Tools at Cisco, where they led a global team and successfully transitioned a proprietary networking stack to the LLVM toolchain. Ivan has also held positions as Director of Processor Compiler at SAPEON Inc. and Director of Compiler Technologies at SiFive, contributing extensively to compiler optimizations and technical leadership in various organizations, including Qualcomm and TransCella. Ivan is pursuing a PhD and an MS in Computer Engineering and Computer Science at Northeastern University.
