David Cañones

David Cañones is a highly accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in leadership and technical roles across various companies. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist and Partner at WhiteBox since October 2019, Cañones drives innovative solutions and oversees key projects. As Chief Data Officer and Co-founder of DataMarket since January 2021, Cañones pioneers the Data as a Service landscape in Spain. Previous roles include Lead Data Scientist at Fen Technology, Lead Instructor of Data Analytics at Ironhack, Senior Data Scientist at Pragsis Bidoop, Data Scientist at Kernel Analytics, and Data Scientist at Grupo Servinform, where expertise in machine learning, data pipelines, and predictive modeling was developed. Cañones holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla and an MBA from EOI Business School.
