John Smyth

John Smyth is currently the Regional Technical Delivery Manager at Fenergo since January 2018. Previously, John held the position of Head of IT - Fixed Services at Vodafone Ireland from March 2009 to September 2017. At Vodafone Ireland, John led and managed a team of technical architects, software developers, and IT professionals, responsible for all development across the Fixed Services systems estate. John was also a senior manager and core member of the Vodafone Ireland IT Leadership Team, focusing on planning, resourcing, and strategic alignment of fixed and mobile technologies. Prior to Vodafone Ireland, John worked at Perlico as a Business Systems Manager and at BT as a Solutions Architect & Senior Software Engineer. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics & Statistics from Queen's University Belfast and has completed various other certifications in computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and business accounting.
