Charbel Abboud, FRM, is a certified Financial Risk Manager with a background in Engineering and over eight years of experience in Capital Markets implementation and transformation projects. Previously a Senior Financial Risk Consultant at Murex, they led various credit and market risk control projects across Europe and the Gulf region. Currently, Charbel serves as the Principal Consultant and Risk Practice Lead at Fenixys, focusing on validation and design of risk measures for leading banks in KSA and Bahrain. They have also contributed to automating market data processes using Python and played a pivotal role in the deployment of Murex’s FRTB/SIMM modules.
