Head Of Manufacturing at Fenmarc Produce

Dom Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. They started their career as a General Assistant at Plastic Pipe Supplies in 2008 and worked there until 2010. In 2012, they embarked on a student placement trainee role at Fenmarc Produce, where they gained experience in various departments and completed projects related to factory performance improvement and HR documentation. In 2013, they worked as a Kitchen Assistant at Plate and Porter, where they prepared ingredients and desserts for the chef. They also worked in a fast-paced, pressurized environment at Yates, a large pub kitchen, where they were responsible for cooking, plating meals, and closing down the kitchen after shifts. Dom then joined Fenmarc Produce again in 2014 as an Operations Improvement Coordinator and later took on roles as an Operations Improvement Coordinator, Continuous Improvement Lead, and Improvement Manager. Finally, they served as the Head of Manufacturing at Fenmarc Produce from July 2020. They have demonstrated their ability to work in teams, handle projects, improve operations, and take on managerial responsibilities in their various roles.

Dom Thomas completed a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies from Leeds Beckett University from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Neale-Wade Community College from 2003 to 2010, but their degree and field of study in that period is unknown. In terms of certifications, Dom obtained the CMI Level 5 Certificate in Professional Consulting (QCF) from the Chartered Management Institute in October 2015. Dom also received the BRC Training - Internal Auditor Training Course certification from BRC Global Standards in March 2015, and the IOSH Managing Safely certification from IOSH in January 2015. In addition, they obtained the Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Manufacturing and the Level 2 Award in Understanding HACCP to National Industry Standards from The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health in October 2014. Dom has also completed the Fire Safety for Managers certification, but the month and year of completion are unknown. Lastly, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from 100% Effective Ltd, but the month and year of completion are also unknown.
