Nicolas Declercq

Nicolas Declercq currently serves as the Director of Sales EMEA at Fermentis by Lesaffre since October 2025. Prior to this role, Nicolas was a PhD Fellow at UCLouvain - Université catholique de Louvain from October 2021 to October 2025, focusing on management in brewing and food industries. Nicolas also holds the title of founder and co-owner of Brasserie Léopold 7 since March 2012. Previous experience includes serving as the Production/Quality Manager at Brasseries STAR Madagascar from September 2009 to February 2012, and leading the Beverage Division at AEB Group from January 2008 to August 2009, as well as at AEB IBERICA from November 2005 to December 2007. Educational qualifications include a degree from Université catholique de Louvain obtained between 1999 and 2005, and prior education at Lycée Emile Jacqmain from 1997 to 1999.
