James Schaffer is an experienced food scientist with a strong background in product development and quality assurance. Currently serving as a Senior Specification Specialist at Ferrara since February 2022, James previously held the position of Senior Food Scientist at Ferrara Candy Company from March 2017 to February 2021. James has over 14 years of experience at Unilever, where roles included Principal Food Scientist and Senior Food Technologist. Earlier experience includes positions at Bestfoods, Inc. as Food Technologist and Associate Food Technologist, and at CPC as R&D Lab Technician and Q.C. Lab Technician. James holds a Master’s Degree in Food Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
