Greg Wright

Greg Wright, MBA, FHFMA has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on finance and budgeting. From 1996 to 2022, they worked at Southern Illinois Healthcare in various roles, including Corporate Director of Finance, Manager Budget and Productivity, and Budget Coordinator. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing financial operations, implementing budgeting processes and systems, and developing long-range financial planning models. Greg also played a key role in driving streamlined operations and achieving financial growth for the organization. In 2023, they held the position of Interim Executive Director at the SIU Alumni Association before becoming the Chief Financial Officer at Ferrell Hospital.

Greg Wright, MBA, FHFMA received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Finance from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Greg also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Administrative Sciences from the same institution. Additionally, they obtained the Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA) certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in 2014.
