Anders Sonesson

Anders Sonesson is a seasoned Senior Research Scientist at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, with extensive experience in metabolism studies and instrument validation for peptide drugs since February 1998. Prior to this role, Anders worked as a Research Scientist at Astra Draco, specializing in LC-MS/MS analysis for small molecule drugs in regulated bioanalysis from September 1994 to February 1998. Anders accumulated significant post-doctoral experience at multiple institutions, including the Center for Environmental Biotechnology at the University of Tennessee, where chemical characterization of bacterial surface structures was conducted, and at Forschungsinstitut Borstel, focusing on the structural characterization of lipopolysaccharides from Legionella pneumophila. Early post-doctoral roles included work at Folkehelsa, emphasizing the chemical characterization of lipopolysaccharides from Legionella species. Anders holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering with a focus on Analytical Chemistry from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Lund Institute of Technology.
