John Hammer

John Hammer has over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles in sales, marketing, and business development. John currently serves as the NA Commercial Director for Ferroglobe PLC, where they drive the commercial team to outperform the market and ensures customer satisfaction. Prior to this, they worked at GEON Performance Solutions as the Commercial Business Director, where they achieved 30% growth year over year and designed a commercial organization aligned with the company's 5-year strategy. John also served as the Sr. Director of Global Marketing at GEON, where they led the company through a comprehensive strategic planning process and implemented new systems to improve sales and profitability. Before joining GEON, John held positions at Owens Corning, Univar, Dow, Dupont Dow Elastomers, and Teknor Apex Company, where they gained extensive experience in sales, marketing, product management, and business development.

John Hammer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Binghamton University, where they attended from 1985 to 1988. John later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on International Business at Johnson & Wales University, from 1998 to 1999.
