FESPA
What is FESPA? FESPA is a global federation of national trade associations and an organiser of exhibitions and conferences for the screen, digital and textile printing industry. FESPA is operated on a 'profit for purpose' basis which sees us reinvest all surplus revenues to support the global print community. FESPA's objective is the promotion of screen printing and digital imaging through each of the 37 separate National Associations in Europe, Asia and the Americas. When and Why was FESPA formed? FESPA was formed in 1962 by a small international group of screenprinters and suppliers to share knowledge on screenprinting technology, establish close co-operation between screenprinters and suppliers and promote screenprinting in Europe. What does FESPA do now? Organises exhibitions and conferences for the screen, digital and textile printing community, in Europe, China, Mexico, Brasil, Africa and Turkey, and publishes industry insight and analysis on www.fespa.com and in our e-newsletter FESPA World. FESPA supports the global print community with reinvestment (€4m in the last seven years), comprising project funding administered by our member associations, and centrally delivered support such as market research and our Planet Friendly Printing and technical Guides.
