Festivalle is an award-winning international jazz festival organised every year in Agrigento since 2018 by a group of young professionals and music lovers.

Described by Rolling Stone magazine as “a one-of-a-kind boutique festival where to listen a refined line-up”, or an “Utopia made reality”, that takes place in different venues of one of the world’s UNESCO existing marvels: the Valley of the Temples, the most important archeological site of ancient classical culture in Sicily.

Festivalle has hosted over the years 25k+ attendants and a selection of seasoned and emerging talents on the international jazz scene in live shows and innovative and experiential formats such as Mulatu Astatke, C’mmon Tigre, Toquinho, Nu Genea, Jeff Mills, Sean Kuti, Lady Blackbird, Kamaal Williams, Kokoroko and counting. 

Its purpose is to keep the region’s arts & culture tradition alive through a territorial enhancement project that aims to bring every year the world’s excellence in music to Agrigento, while promoting its people, the local culture, and the truly Sicilian spirit, which has ignited in time multiple other events and initiatives that supported a considerable tourist induction.

It is part of the network of ‘Jazz takes the Green’ sustainable festivals and applies a plastic-zero and a CAM (minimal environment criteria) approach. 

It's programme of collateral events throughout the year includes also Festivalle OFF: talks, musicals, concerts and theatre under the artistic direction of Fausto Savatteri.
