Achal Arvind has had a varied and successful career in robotics engineering. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Robotics Engineering Manager at Fetch Robotics. Prior to this, they worked at Bossa Nova Robotics from 2016 to 2021, where they held the roles of Director of Robotics (Autonomy), Principal Software Engineer and Manager, Robotics, Senior Robotics Engineer, and Robotics Engineer. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Indian Institute of Science as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant in the Aerospace Department. In 2011, they were Team Leader at the International Aerial Robotics Competition at BNM Institute of Technology. Finally, in 2010, they were Founder and Head of the BNM Robotics Club, Co Organizer of TEDxBNMIT, and Team Leader of ABU Robocon at BNM Institute of Technology.
Achal Arvind graduated from National Hill View Public School in 2009. Achal then went on to earn a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University in 2013. In 2016, Achal Arvind completed a Master of Science (MS) in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University.
