Jorge Paz

Jorge Paz has a diverse work experience. Jorge is currently working as an Android Engineer at Fetch Rewards, where they started in August 2021. Prior to that, Jorge was an Android Engineer Apprentice at the same company from June 2021 to August 2021.

Before joining Fetch Rewards, Jorge was the Business Owner and Founder of Sano Capricho, a company they started in May 2014 and worked until September 2017. In this role, they were directly involved in all activities related to product decoration, production, and distribution. Jorge managed a team of 11 employees, providing leadership, preparing work schedules, and assigning duties.

Jorge also gained experience as an Electrical Engineering Intern at the Center of Electronic Design from June 2013 to December 2013. In this position, they designed and programmed a circuit for monitoring transportation trucks using a GPS system. Jorge implemented geofences to detect when the trucks deviated from their designated path and sent notifications to the owner via email and text message.

Jorge Paz has a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Regis University, which they obtained from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2009 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Jorge also obtained The Comprehensive 2021 Android Development Masterclass certification from Udemy in May 2021.
