Mason O'Mara

Mason O'Mara has a diverse background in software engineering and front-end development. They have held various roles in different companies, starting in 2012.

In 2013, Mason worked as a Distance Education Help Desk Assistant and Student IT Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. They provided phone and online assistance to online distance learners and participated in office IT projects.

From 2013 to 2015, Mason worked at Great Lakes Higher Education Corporation and Affiliates as a UI Design Intern and later as a Web Developer. They developed and optimized front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript. They also performed SEO maintenance and worked on back-end applications.

In 2015, Mason joined Shoutlet as a Front-End Engineer, contributing to various applications and using technologies like Javascript, jQuery, responsive CSS/Sass, and React.

Following the acquisition of Shoutlet by Spredfast, Mason continued their front-end development work as a Front End Engineer at Spredfast. They focused on migrating applications and leading front-end code development using React and Redux. They also worked closely with designers to ensure excellent UI and UX, managed releases, and made architectural decisions.

In 2017, Mason started working at Bunker as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led the front-end development effort. Their responsibilities included front-end architecture decisions, writing application code, styling, and staging user-tests.

In 2019, Mason joined PegEx, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on front-end development within a Vue framework. They improved front-end architecture, wrote testable code, and worked on beta features for the company's roadmap.

From 2020 to 2021, Mason worked at EatStreet as a Senior Software Engineer, before joining Fetch Rewards in 2021 as a Front End Lead.

Throughout their career, Mason has gained experience in front-end development, software engineering, and leadership roles, using various technologies and frameworks to deliver high-quality applications and improve user experiences.

Mason O'Mara completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Mason attended the university from 2009 to 2013.
