Nikhil Kartha

Nikhil Kartha has a diverse work experience in software engineering roles. Nikhil is currently working as a Staff Backend Engineer at Fetch Rewards since February 2020. Prior to this, they worked at WD, a Western Digital company, as a Staff Developer from August 2015 to December 2019. In this role, they developed REST-based services for data analytics and created tools for system monitoring and reporting. Before that, they worked at LG Silicon Valley Lab as a Senior Software Engineer in 2015, where they developed and maintained build release notes tool and worked on a static code analysis tool for JavaScript.

From 2012 to 2015, Nikhil worked at Akraya Inc. as a Senior Web Developer. During this time, they worked with clients like Symantec, Gap Inc, and LG SVL. Nikhil developed web services using Java/Restlet and Python/Django frameworks, wrote client-side modules in Python for interacting with HTTP REST interfaces, and programmed Motorola/Symbol handheld mobile computer. Nikhil also developed and maintained a Test Automation Framework.

Starting their career in 2008, Nikhil worked at Palm Inc as a Software Engineer. Nikhil was responsible for developing and maintaining build regression, log analysis, and remote diagnostics tools. Nikhil also designed and developed an asynchronous multi-threaded library using TCP sockets and SSL. Additionally, they maintained several components like the Certificate Manager App and Service.
