Ushma Bhatt

Ushma Bhatt has a diverse work experience, starting as a Marketing Intern at TCS iON in 2016. Ushma then served as an Internship Coordinator at K J Somaiya College of Engineering Vidyanagar Campus Vidyavihar Mumbai-400077 from 2016 to 2017. Following that, they worked as a Placement Coordinator at the same institution from 2017 to 2018.

In 2019, Ushma joined the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as both a Graduate Teaching Assistant from August to December and a Graduate Research Assistant from June to December. Ushma then moved on to work at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications in 2020. Here, they held the roles of Data Analyst from January to August, where they queried and analyzed data using PySpark and Spark SQL, and Data Scientist from August to March 2021, where they worked on machine learning algorithms to predict stock prices and developed visualizations.

In 2021, Ushma joined Hwy Haul as a Data Scientist for a brief period from May to July. Following that, they joined Daasity later in the year. At Daasity, they held the roles of SQL Developer/Data Analyst from July 2021 to September 2022 and Senior Developer/Data Analyst from August to December 2022.

Currently, Ushma Bhatt is employed at Fetch as a Developer, starting in January 2023.

Ushma Bhatt earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Engineering from K. J. Somaiya Institute Of Engineering and Information Technology, completing their studies from 2014 to 2018. Ushma later pursued a Masters of Science degree in Management Information Systems, with a focus on General studies, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, studying from 2018 to 2020.
