Christopher Herget is a Project Engineer at FEV Europe GmbH since July 2022, specializing in battery system engineering, concept development, and testing. In conjunction with this role, Christopher is a Master's Degree Candidate focusing on the conceptual design of an innovative battery test bench to explore thermal runaway behavior in large-format, high-capacity battery cells. Christopher has been a Technical Advisor and Head of Electrical Engineering at Sonnenwagen Aachen e.V. since May 2016, in addition to serving as a Battery Engineer. Prior experience includes a position as a Working Student at Air Energy Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH & Co KG from May 2016 to July 2022, where battery prototype development and testing were conducted. Academically, Christopher obtained a Master of Science in Product Development from RWTH Aachen University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, complemented by studies at Linköping University in 2020.
