Peter Karlsson

Peter Karlsson has extensive experience in transmission system design and management, currently serving as the Department Manager for Transmission Systems and previously as Manager of Transmission Design at FEV Europe GmbH since September 2014. Prior to this role, Peter was the Mechanical System Design Manager at VICURA AB, where responsibilities included overseeing design activities and leading engineering teams. Furthermore, Peter held various engineering and leadership positions at Saab Automobile Powertrain, General Motors Powertrain, Fiat-GM Powertrain, and Saab Automobile AB, focusing on torque transfer and manual transmission design from 1998 to 2014. This experience encompasses a robust background in gears, splines, shafts, and various transmission technologies.
