Manuel Ortega

Manuel Ortega is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in developing advanced data systems and machine learning models. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Fever since September 2022, Manuel previously held similar positions at ING, where a notable achievement includes designing and implementing a phishing fraud detection system. Prior roles include data scientist at Lang.ai, focusing on natural language processing and machine learning, and R&D Manager at ILUNION, overseeing project management and strategy. Early career experiences involved data analysis roles at Burke and G2 Intelligence, as well as serving as an Assistant Professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, concentrating on machine learning research. Manuel holds a PhD candidacy in Machine Learning from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
