FEW (For Empowering Women) Japan is a collective of globally-minded, English-speaking women of all nationalities established to create meaningful connections for women in Japan. We do this by offering valuable opportunities for growth in career and personal development through purposeful events and exchanges with our diverse group of members. 

FEW originally stood for “Foreign Executive Women”, who were literally “few” when the organization was founded in 1981 by two foreign entrepreneurs, and has evolved tremendously over our 43-year history, having empowered thousands of women in and outside of Japan.
