Brian Cleary

Brian Cleary serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Open Connect at Fexco since November 2023. Previously, Brian held the position of Managing Director at EVO Payments Ireland from November 2014 to April 2022, where responsibilities included designing and implementing strategies that established EVO as a key player in the payments sector in Ireland and the UK, as well as building high-performing teams. Prior to this, Brian was the Head of Cards and Loans at Bank of Ireland from October 2008 to October 2014, managing the launch of Visa Debit Cards and overseeing the risk and credit profile for unsecured lending. Additionally, Brian served as Head of Sales for Retail Distribution at Bank of Ireland, leading sales strategies across the retail division. Brian's career at Bank of Ireland began as a Branch Manager from January 2002 to August 2008, focusing on branch management and sales operations. Brian holds a Master of Science in Management from University College Cork, earned in 2013.
