Mikhail Bashtanov is a physicist, engineer, and project leader currently serving as a Senior Development Engineer at FFE Ltd since 2025. Mikhail has extensive experience, having worked as a physicist at TTP plc from 2008 to 2025 and as a research fellow at University of Sussex from 2000 to 2008, specializing in optical traps and micromechanics for hearing research. Earlier, Mikhail conducted research at the Russian Academy of Sciences from 1997 to 2002, focusing on laser spectral instrumentation and photodynamic therapy. Mikhail holds an MSci in Engineering and Physics from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI and is pursuing a PhD in Physics at Moscow State University.
