Ruth Bamber

Ruth Bamber is an experienced operations professional currently serving as the Director of Operations at FFE Ltd since September 2022. Prior to this role, Ruth held the position of Sector Continuous Improvement Manager at Johnson Matthey from March 2019 to September 2022. Ruth also served as Head of Operations at GKN Aerospace Transparency Systems (Luton) from July 2017 to March 2019 and held multiple roles including Value Stream Manager and Continuous Improvement Manager at GKN Aerospace from January 2008 to July 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing the 787 heater mat programme. Early career experience includes New Product Introduction Engineer focused on aircraft window design and manufacture, along with process improvement roles at GKN. Ruth completed a Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering Tripos at the University of Cambridge, graduating in 2006.
