Stuart Braman

Stuart Braman is the Founder of Fossil Free Indexes LLC, a climate-focused analytics and advisory firm established in 2013 that promotes sustainable investment and Net Zero strategies. They previously served as Managing Director at Standard & Poor's Risk Solutions from 1997 to 2005 and held various roles including Director of Business Development at Gibbs & Hill and Consultant at R2 Financial Technologies. Braman has also worked as an Adjunct Research Scientist at Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory at Columbia University since 2007, collaborating on projects to finance clean cookstoves with carbon offsets. With a B.A. in English from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. in Geography from Columbia University, Braman brings a diverse educational background to their endeavors.
