Janet Grigsby

Janet Grigsby has extensive experience in leadership and advocacy within various organizations, currently serving as Board Secretary for Community Alliance for a United San Antonio since January 2013. Previous roles include Advocacy Coordinator for PFLAG National from March 2019 to June 2021, Board Secretary for the San Antonio Chapter of PFLAG from March 2011 to March 2016, and Chair of the Leadership and Advocacy Council at Planned Parenthood Texas Votes from May 2014 to April 2015. Janet also held positions such as Executive Director at StandUp For Kids, VP of Programs at ASTD - San Antonio, and Corporate Training Adjunct Faculty at Alamo Community Colleges. In the early career, Janet owned JBG Marketing & Consulting and worked as Marketing Director at Cox Radio, along with a role as Community Relations Director at Southwest Mental Health Center. Janet holds a Master’s degree in Human Relations & Business from Amberton University, earned between 1982 and 1985.
