Avi Kahani has a long and varied work experience. Avi began their career in 1983 as an Orchard Manager at Kibbutz Misgav Avm. In 1990, they took on the role of Manager at Dalmit, a family-owned company, where they managed import/export, ERP implementation and operation and managed a retail chain. In 1996, they founded and served as CEO of R.A.A.A.S. Ltd. In 2000, they joined Mobixell Networks as VP EMEA and CET Line of Business. During their tenure, they ran the CET line of business, generating over $4MM in its first year of sales and was a member of the team that generated the original innovation behind the new product line. Avi was also responsible for P&L, R&D, marketing activities and management of a team of 40 people. In 2002, they took on the role of VP Rich Media Product Line & Operations, managing the RMS line of business, which generated over $10MM annually. Avi's responsibilities included management of all decision-making in the business unit of 40 people, sales activities and in-house and off-shore development. In 2005, they became VP Finance and Operations, a member of the management team that raised the company from a 5-person startup to an international company with 220 employees in offices around the world and tens of million dollars of revenues. Avi was responsible for operations, financial control, budget planning, investment (raised over $40MM in 6 rounds of financing) and economic analysis for strategy on new products and acquisitions. In 2014, they co-founded and became CEO of FFRobotics, introducing a new era in fresh fruit harvesting. Avi has decades of combined management experience in orchard agriculture, hardware development, image processing and other related technologies, which is helping break down barriers that have made it difficult to compete in the fresh fruit market in developed countries.
Avi Kahani attended Technion - Haifa from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a BSc (Eng) in Mechanical Engineering.
