Ben Sands

Ben Sands is currently a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Fi, a position they have held since 2025. They previously worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at General Radar Corp. in 2023 and served as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Catapult from 2022 to 2023. Ben has experience as a Firmware Engineer at SimpliSafe between 2018 and 2022, and they also worked as a Mechanical and Aerospace Engineer at CyPhy Works from 2014 to 2018 after completing an Engineering Internship at Lantheus Medical Imaging in 2013. Ben earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in 2014 and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
