Charles Nicholson has a long and varied career in software engineering. Charles began their career in 2000 as a Programmer Intern at Disney. In 2001 they were a Software Engineer at Liquidnet, and in 2002 they were a Senior Programmer in the R&D department at High Moon Studios, where they were also the Multiplayer Team Lead. From 2006 to 2007 they were a Senior Software Engineer at Sony Computer Entertainment America, and in 2007 they were the Cofounder and Chief Burrito Officer at Power of Two Games. In 2008 they were a Lead Programmer in the Game Tech Group at Sony Computer Entertainment America, and in 2016 they were a Research Software Engineer at Google. From 2017 to 2021 they were a Technical Lead and Engineering Manager at Verily Life Sciences, and currently they are a Lead Firmware Engineer at Fi - Next Generation Dog Collars.

Charles Nicholson obtained a BA in Computer Science from Vassar College between 1997 and 2001. Charles also holds a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance.
