Nathan Jordan has worked in the software engineering field since 2006. In 2006, they were an Intern in Web Design at InsiteCS. From 2009 to 2010, they worked at OHL as a Web Programmer and at Grooveshark as a Flash Developer. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Undergraduate/Graduate Researcher, Research Assistant, and Supplemental Instructor/Grader at the University of Nevada Reno. From 2014 to 2021, they worked at Uber as a Senior Software Engineer and at Fi - Next Generation Dog Collars as a Senior Software Engineer. At Uber, they worked on the engineering foundations team and was a significant contributor to the new observability system for application logs. At Fi - Next Generation Dog Collars, they designed and implemented product, data processing and cloud infrastructure software in Typescript, Python, React in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nathan Jordan attended the University of Nevada, Reno from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering and Math. Nathan then returned to the University of Nevada, Reno from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Master of Science in Computer Science & Engineering.
