Michael Sorrell

Michael Sorrell is currently the Deputy General Counsel at FIA, Inc., the leading global trade organization for futures, options, and centrally cleared derivatives markets. Prior to their current role, Michael served as an Associate General Counsel at Morrison & Foerster LLP and an Associate at Covington & Burling LLP. Michael also has experience working as a Law Clerk at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Michael holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
