FIAM is a non-profit organization, a unifying platform that aims to contribute to the development and competitiveness of Quebec’s financial community and beyond.

𝗜𝘁𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻:

• 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Montréal within the global innovation network by emphasizing AI and machine learning applied to finance and asset management.

• 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 industry leaders to make FIAM a strategic lever for innovation in finance and asset management.

• 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, unite, and mobilize universities, industry stakeholders, and para-public organizations to create synergy around this mission.

Convinced that artificial intelligence would transform finance, Claude Perron founded FIAM in 2020 with a mandate to advance this mission through partnerships, joint industry-university initiatives, content-driven events, conferences/webinars, and networking activities.

Since its inception, FIAM has become a key catalyst in the investment industry. Its flagship event, 𝗟𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗜𝗔𝗠, is the largest summer gathering of the investment ecosystem in Canada, bringing together current leaders and emerging talent. The 𝗠𝗰𝗚𝗶𝗹𝗹–𝗙𝗜𝗔𝗠 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 aims to develop a new generation of talent ready to build a finance industry driven by 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗔 — 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.
