John Buckley

John Buckley is an experienced leader in both sports and business. Since May 2015, John serves as Chairman of the Munster Football Association, overseeing various competitions and development within Irish football. Additional roles within the association include Executive Committee Member, Council Member, and Vice Chairman & Director. In parallel, since March 2018, John holds the position of Buyer & Production Manager at Fish Seafood Deli, focusing on quality and sustainable sourcing. John's involvement in the Football Association of Ireland includes being a General Assembly Member since April 2021. Active in community service, John volunteers as a driver for Cancer Connect and has been a key member of the West Cork League since 1999. Their political engagement includes serving as Secretary of Comhairle Dáil Ceantair for Fianna Fáil Cork South West. Previous roles include a Financial Adviser and a Vehicle Sourcing Specialist.
