Niels Beuck

Niels Beuck is a seasoned professional in freight forwarding and logistics, currently serving as Deputy Director General and Head of European Affairs at DSLV Bundesverband Spedition und Logistik since January 2014. His responsibilities include engaging with EU institutions and stakeholders on issues related to transport, logistics, security, sustainability, and customs, while also being a member of key bodies within CLECAT and FIATA. Additionally, since December 2020, Niels Beuck has held the position of Chairperson of the Advisory Body Safety and Security at FIATA. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Policy Adviser at CLECAT, where Niels Beuck focused on air and maritime transport, and earlier roles at FIATA and Land Berlin, where Niels Beuck gained insights into policy advising and legal training. Niels Beuck holds a Master’s degree in International and European Relations from Linköping University and a first state exam in Law from Technische Universität Dresden.
