Daniel Augustine

Daniel Augustine currently serves as the Mini Basketball Development Officer at FIBA, focusing on promoting basketball for good, sustainability, and health initiatives. In addition to this role, Daniel is the Head Coach for the Department of Sports in the Cayman Islands, where responsibilities include developing basketball programs and coaching in primary and secondary schools. With extensive experience as a Sports Instructor, Daniel has been involved with the Sports Department since 2003 and has also served as a Sports Instructor II and Basketball Coach since 2002. Previous coaching roles include Head Coach for the Men National Basketball team of the Cayman Islands Basketball Association and Assistant Basketball Coach at CIBA, as well as experience with observation roles at the NBA's Washington Wizards and George Mason University. Daniel's education includes a Certificate in Sports Science from the ICECP and ongoing studies at the University of Phoenix.
