Wan-Ching Cho, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Wan-Ching currently holds the position of Partnerships and Operations Manager at FIBA where they manage the FIBA Approval Programme and its partner relations. Prior to this, they were the General Manager and Founding Partner at SportsUpProach, a French-based sports agency. Wan-Ching has also worked as a Communications Officer at Plan International and held multiple roles at the International Boxing Association IBA, including Partnerships and Operations Manager and Communications Coordinator. Other experiences include working as a Communications Intern at FIBA, Institutional Communications at European Athletics, and as a Project Co-Lead at the Olympic Studies Centre. Wan-Ching has also held roles at the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee and the Chinese Taipei School Sports Federation. Additionally, Wan-Ching has extensive experience as a basketball athlete, coach, and referee.

Wan-Ching Cho, PhD has an extensive education history. Wan-Ching obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the National Taiwan University from 2002 to 2008. During this time, they majored in Foreign Languages and Literatures and minored in Sociology, focusing on Communications and Gender Studies.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Wan-Ching Cho pursued further studies at the National Taiwan Normal University, where they obtained their Master of Education (MEd) degree in Sport Administration from 2008 to 2010. Wan-Ching'smaster's program covered topics such as globalization, sport policy, sport organization, and labor migration.

In 2015 and 2016, Wan-Ching Cho attended the AISTS (International Academy of Sport Science and Technology) and earned a Master's Degree in the field of Sport Administration and Technology (MSA). During this program, they gained advanced knowledge in sports administration and the application of technology in the sports industry.

Continuing their academic journey, Wan-Ching Cho obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the National Taiwan Normal University, specializing in Public Sports Policy, global sports governance, and compliance. Wan-Ching dedicated a significant amount of time to this program, from 2011 to 2020.

In addition to their academic achievements, Wan-Ching Cho also holds several certifications. Wan-Ching became a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute in November 2020. Furthermore, they obtained the National Certification Basketball Coach from the Chinese Taipei Basketball Association in September 2007. In July 2004, they acquired the National Certification Basketball Referee at Level B from the Chinese Taipei Basketball Federation.
