Mauro Tilocca is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in standards and project management, currently serving as a Senior Standards Expert at FiberCop since July 2024. Mauro has been involved with the Broadband Forum since March 2008, where roles include Chairman of the Service Provider Action Council, Director, and Story Team Lead for the Open Broadband - Broadband Access Abstraction project. This open-source initiative focuses on creating a reference implementation to support Software Defined Access Networks. Previously, Mauro spent 20 years at TIM as a Senior Standards Expert and Access Network Automation Project Manager, leading efforts in network automation and broadband access abstraction. Earlier experience includes a researcher position at CSELT from 1994 to 1998. Mauro holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
