Carl Knowlton

Carl is a senior finance professional with an extensive track record of success originating infrastructure investment in the utility, transportation and project finance sectors. Carl received a B.S. from the United States Military Academy, an M.B.A. from Northeastern University and is a CFA Charterholder and an Accredited Financial Analyst.

Carl has financed numerous waste-to-energy facilities including landfill gas, mass burn, and biomass plants. Prior to joining Fiberight, Carl was a Managing Director at John Hancock Financial Services where he sourced, analyzed, structured and negotiated utility, project finance and renewable investment efforts across all power generation technologies.

Before his tenure at John Hancock, Carl was a Senior Vice President at the New York City Economic Development Corporation leading the New York City Industrial Development Agency’s efforts to promote economic growth in each of New York City’s five boroughs. Previously, Carl was a critical member of the Public Power Team at Credit Suisse.
