David Skuse

VP Technology at FiberLean Technologies

David Skuse has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and research. David worked at FiberLean Technologies Ltd as the VP of Technology, where they contributed to the production of microfibrillated cellulose. Prior to that, they held the position of Honorary Professor at the University of Birmingham, Department of Chemical Engineering. Before that, David worked at IMERYS in various roles such as Technology Director, Global R&D Manager, R&D Manager, and Technical Director. Their responsibilities at IMERYS included managing research and development teams, coordinating global projects, and developing new products for industries like plastics, paint, rubber, and specialty industries. David also gained experience at English China Clays plc and the University of BC, where they worked in research and development roles.

David Skuse's education history begins in 1967 when they attended St Brendans. David completed their studies at St Brendans in 1971. From 1971 to 1979, they attended Bristol Cathedral School, although no degree or field of study is specified during this time. In 1978, they enrolled at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd and obtained a BSc in Chemistry in 1981. Following this, Skuse pursued a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Bristol from 1981 to 1984.
