Ronald Lai

Ronald Lai has over 27 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Ronald most recently worked at FiberLean Technologies as the Regional Director of Application & Technical Service since August 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Manager of Paper & Packaging Applications at the same company from October 2017 to August 2022.

Before joining FiberLean Technologies, Ronald worked at Kemira as the Global Business Development Manager from June 2016 to August 2017, and as a Principal Scientist from May 2015 to June 2016. Ronald'sresponsibilities included strategic business development and scientific research.

Ronald also has experience working at AkzoNobel, where they served as a Senior Specialist/Project Leader from November 2010 to May 2015, and as a Development Engineer from June 1999 to November 2010.

Ronald's earliest work experience was at INNVENTIA AB, where they worked as a Research Associate from March 1996 to June 1999.

Ronald began their career as a Process Engineer at Omni Continental from September 1994 to February 1996.

Ronald Lai has a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Pulp and Paper Technology from The University of British Columbia, which they pursued from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry, also from The University of British Columbia, completed from 1986 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, Ronald Lai has obtained a certification in Excel Data Visualization: Mastering 20+ Charts and Graphs from LinkedIn in March 2020.
