Michael Soto

Michael Soto is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in network operations and telecommunications. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at OpticalTel since March 2021, Michael oversees the Engineering and Network Operations Center (NOC) team, ensuring efficient delivery of internet, video, voice, and commercial services. Prior roles include Director of Engineering/NOC at Summit Broadband, where management of multiple teams led to significant process improvements, and Director of Advanced Engineering at Charter Communications, focusing on automation and certification testing. Michael has held various leadership positions in notable companies such as Brighthouse Networks, Time Warner Cable, and Cisco Systems, alongside a distinguished career in the United States Air Force in network operations. Academic qualifications include an MBA and a BSIT from the University of Phoenix, along with an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
