Peter Hubbard

Peter Hubbard has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Peter is currently employed at FiberSense as a Lead Engineer since July 2022. Prior to that, Peter worked at UC Berkeley College of Engineering as a PhD Candidate from January 2021 to August 2022, and as a PhD Student from August 2018 to January 2021. Peter also gained experience as a Student Research Engineer at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) from August 2021 to July 2022. In addition, Peter worked as a Research Affiliate at Berkeley Lab from May 2021 to July 2022. During their time at the University of California, Berkeley, Peter served as a Graduate Student Instructor from August 2018 to May 2020.

Peter Hubbard received their Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Peter then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in GeoSystems Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Peter obtained their PhD from the University of California, Berkeley in the year 2022.
