Greg Piller

Greg Piller has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Greg is currently working as the Principal Electrical Engineer at Fibertek Inc. starting from July 2022. Before this, they were the President of Oak Hill Systems LLC from November 2001 to November 2022. As an engineering consultant at Oak Hill Systems, Greg designed and developed software and hardware for real-time data acquisition, analysis, remote monitoring, and signal processing systems.

Prior to Oak Hill Systems, Greg worked at ORBCOMM as an Electrical and Software Engineer from September 2004 to December 2009. At ORBCOMM, they were responsible for software and hardware engineering design and development for satellite and GSM modems. Greg designed and coded a Real-Time Operating System and developed custom applications using a software development kit.

From March 1997 to May 2000, Greg worked at Raytheon as an Engineering Manager. Greg served as the Lead Hardware Engineer for the Tactical Control System of an unmanned aerial vehicle system and also managed the Embedded Processors Group. Greg worked on DARPA projects as the lead hardware engineer, leading a team, managing staff, writing proposals, and designing circuits.

Greg Piller pursued their education in the field of Electrical Engineering at Old Dominion University. Greg completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1987.
