Ilya Kleyman

Ilya Kleyman has a varied and extensive work experience. Starting from 2010, Kleyman worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at General Dynamics Corporation. In 2011, they joined the company as a Mechanical Engineer and held various roles in the powertrain group, specializing in subsystem design and product engineering. During this time, they worked on the engine, transmission, driveline, exhaust, and cooling subsystems.

At General Dynamics Corporation, Kleyman was responsible for collaborating with suppliers to design and develop gear train systems. Ilya also assisted in project management for transmission suppliers and contributed to design, development, and testing activities. Additionally, Kleyman led the design of the engine pre-heating subsystem, including bracket and hose design, as well as coolant loop system design. Ilya also developed a cold start kit to enable engine startup in extremely cold ambient conditions. Kleyman was involved in designing engine mounts, considering dynamic and vibration considerations, and they played a role in creating and releasing engineering drawings within GD&T guidelines.

After working at General Dynamics Corporation, Kleyman joined Rexnord in 2014 as a Design Engineer. In 2015, they moved to Gates Corporation as a Research Engineer, where they worked until 2017. During their time at Gates Corporation, Kleyman gained experience in research and played a crucial role in the engineering team.

In 2017, Kleyman joined ZF Group as a Senior Product Engineer, where they continued to work until 2021. Finally, in 2021, Kleyman joined Fibertek Inc. as a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
