John Iskander

John Iskander has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. John began their career in 1991 at J.F. Taylor, Inc as an Embedded Systems Engineer, where they designed and developed multilayer circuit boards and firmware. John then moved on to Tellabs in 1995, where they worked as a Development Manager, overseeing the design and production of telecommunications equipment. In 2004, they joined Orbital Sciences Corporation as an Electronics Systems Engineer and Cost Account Manager, responsible for the development and testing of flight computers and managing subcontract procurements. John worked at Coherent Communications Systems Corporation as an Embedded Systems Engineer from 1995 to 2004. Currently, they serve as the Program Manager & Director of Electrical Engineering at Fibertek Inc., managing various electro-optical research and development programs, maintaining strong customer relationships, and overseeing the entire development process from concept to delivery.

John Iskander completed their Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering at The George Washington University in 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1990.
