Lance Baird

Lance Baird is a Senior Technical Program Manager at Fibertek, Inc., leading the development of innovative space communication systems. With extensive experience spanning systems engineering, lasercom, and advanced materials, Lance has a proven track record in managing cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality products for major defense acquisition programs. Previously, Lance held roles as Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman and Project Manager at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where they managed interdisciplinary teams and developed advanced technologies. Lance earned a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Professional Degree in Engineering Management from The George Washington University.
