Nathan Harkema

Nathan Harkema has work experience as a Laser Engineer at Fibertek Inc. since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Arizona from 2013 to 2021, where they served as a Graduate Researcher, focusing on developing spectroscopic techniques for studying electron dynamics. At the University of Arizona, Nathan also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, managing lab courses and introducing students to new physics concepts. Before their time at the University of Arizona, Nathan worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Calvin College from 2012 to 2013, conducting physics simulations for non-sequential double ionization of atoms.

Nathan Harkema completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from Calvin University in the years 2009 to 2013. Subsequently, they pursued their Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Arizona from 2013 until 2020.
